  • "Host sent clear instructions that made checking in very easy, and they were kind and responsive the entire time. It was nice to be given enough towels and even beach towels to use too. Plenty of hangers to hang clothes was appreciated as well. The unit was quiet and easy to sleep in. The interior design felt a bit outdated but don’t let that turn you away from booking this stay!."

  • "We felt spoiled here!! AC, great water pressure, our own patio with a gorgeous view, fridge + well-stocked kitchen, laundry machine & soap, coffee, bedroom TV, and a lovely host. She sent very clear check-in instructions, with a video as well to show us how to get to the door, so it was very easy to find. Very clean as well. Good lighting in the bathroom with the added mirror lights. This property is basically directly accessible from the street, so you can uber directly to the front door (only one short flight of stairs up) from the front gate. This is a luxury in Dubrovnik lol trust me it’s all a giant hill from old town. 5-10 minute walk to the gates of the old town and also to banje beach!! Nikolina was very responsive and so kind to communicate with. I can’t recommend this property enough :)."

  • "The apartment is very well located within walking distance to the old town so it was easy to get around and visit the sights, but was still far enough away from the crowds to be peaceful. There is a supermarket (closed Sundays) and cafe a few hundred meters away which is very convenient. The apartment is very comfortable and well furnished and has everything you need for a your stay including all the kitchen utensils. The views from the apartment are stunning and the outside space is good - with sun loungers and beach towels. Online Croatia and our local contact were great to deal with and kept in touch to ensure we were happy and the video showing how access the apartment was really useful."

  • "Everything as advertised. Online Croatia responsive and very helpful. Host also very responsive and obliging. What really stood out was all the little things. There were coffee filters for the dripolator, dishwasher tablets, even a little laundry detergent in a bag ( we only needed one wash ). The noodles in the cupboard we appreciated after arriving at night after 30 hrs travel and on a public holiday (=no supermarkets open). Perhaps it was another travellers but there was a little coffee in a bag. ( supermarkets closed next day also). Should it be mosquito season there were coils and plug ins. There were rain ponchos which were great because we had a bit of rain the last 2 days. Plenty of towels. Great location, steep steps down to town opposite or down the hill there are more steps with a more gentle gradient. If steps are a problem it doesn’t take long by the road. We loved the patio area. Supermarket just up the road. Would definitely recommend.."

The apartment has very good air conditioning which was perfect for the hot days. Nikolina was a perfect host. Terassilla on aurinkotuolit eikä välttämättä tarvinnut lähteä mihinkään viettääkseen täydellisen lomapäivän. Terassilla oli mukava juoda aamukahvit ja katsella merinäkymiä sekä seurata pihanurmella silloin tällöin moikkaamaan tulleita kilpikonnia. Alas vanhaan kaupunkiin on muutama porras. Niiden kiipeäminen kävi hyvästä porrastreenistä. Nikoliinalta sai apua aina tarvittaessa. Asunto oli puhdas ja löytyi kaikki tarvittava viikon oleskeluun. Ilmastointi viilensi yöllä niin, että oli mukava nukkua. Astianpesukonekin löytyi! Voisin tulla uudelleen :)"

  • "My favorite part about this apartment was how quiet it was in comparison to AirBNB options located within Old Town. It's close enough to Old Town to be totally walkable but private enough that crowds won't disturb you. I also loved the private terrace with sun loungers and a 2-person table, because the views from both of those were incredible. The one thing you should know before booking is that you have to climb a fair amount of stairs to get to the property from sea level (and Old Town), so that should be taken into consideration. Other than that it was a very pleasant experience!"

Good wifi, plenty of space for a couple or a single traveller, and adequate cooking facilities (mostly, I ate out or was treated with Ivo’s delicious Dalmatian dishes). We loved being just outside Old Town, about a 10 minute walk, so we were a bit outside the heavy tourist area, had a beautiful view of Old Town and could easily go in whenever we wanted to. It is uphill to the apartment from Old Town but we had no problem with that. And host Ivo who lives next door is lovely and will tell you some great life stories if you feel like chatting. It only takes about 10 minutes walk to the old town. You will have to expect stairs if you come to Dubrovnik. Some of the decor is a little dated but everything was provided. The apartment is quite convenient to the old town, 3-5 mins walking distance and I would suggest stay at this apartment as I don’t want to stay inside the old town."

  • "This apartment was perfect for our holiday. Spacious outside patio/garden area with various seating options and wonderful views of old walled town. The friendly and helpful owners, Mira and Ivo live next to the apartment but guests have privacy and the place felt very secure. The twin or king sized bed was very comfortable, the shower was spacious and there is a great kitchen area with two electric rings for cooking. The air con is situated in the hall just outside of the bedroom which is ideal as this kept the noise to a minimum at night when it was in use. The location was also great for us as the beach was at the bottom of the stairs leading down into the old town and the bus stop (No 8) was just up from the entrance to the garden. One thing to mention is that there are a number of stairs up into the apartment and Dubrovnik generally has a lot of stairs! Really good for getting rid of all the calories that are consumed eating the great local food and wine! We loved staying at this apartment and would recommend it to other visitors."

It is in my opinion one of the best locations in Dubrovnik, 5 minutes walk to Oldtown, 5 minutes walk to the beach, 2-3 minute walk from airport shuttle bus and cable car. One of the best things about this apartment is the hosts, they couldn't have been more helpful. Ivo was brilliant, he gave us advice on where to go, was always at hand if we needed anything and was just the perfect host in general. We found him very interesting to talk to and he educated us alot about Dubrovnik and its history. Overall this is the perfect apartment for a couple looking for a relaxing convenient stay. Fantastic beautiful view from the nice terrace and a very nice and charming couple who rented it out. They live next door and took really good care of us, helped us with guided tours, ferry tickets and one day we even had lunch, prepared with a lot of passion for the food. Also drove us to the airport for a cheaper price than taxi. We had a very good holiday!"

Our hosts were delightful and welcomed us to their apartment with great conversation, knowledge of the area and local recommendations. The owner also offered us a lift to the airport at half the taxi fare. The apartment had great views of the sea, Lokrum and the old town and was within easy walking distance of all the main amenities. The accommodation was not 5* but was comfortable and gave us all that we needed. We would definitely return."

Hilfreich war auch, dass wir einen Parkplatz hatten. In der Nähe gibt es auch ein sehr gutes Lokal. Wie der Strand war können wir nicht beurteilen, da wir nicht dort waren. Es gab unsererseits nichts zu beanstanden. Wir würden wieder dorthin gehen."

Ivo brought us on a drive around Dubrovnik to see some beautiful sights which was very kind of him. Nearest beach (200m) is Banje beach which we found too busy and water sometimes had rubbish in it, but instead we went to Sveti Jakov beach which was a 20 minute walk but much more beautiful-highly recommend it instead of Banje Beach! Apartment was very good and as described has air-conditioning in the living area with lovely views. I would like to return to this apartment in future! "

Schlafzimmer schön gross und stilvoll sowie mit Meerblick und Parkettboden! Bad mit reichlich Ablagemöglichkeiten, große Dusche mit sehr gutem Wasserdruck! Küche ausreichend gross (für 2 Personen ausgestattet); Geschirr nicht ganz sauber; Elektroherd verrostet, aber Mikrowelle vorhanden. Kleiner Supermarkt mit Bäckertheke nur 2 Minuten die Straße hoch. Strand: schön nah, aber klein und daher trotz Nachsaison fast voll. Lage zur Altstadt sehr gut: Treppen oder Straße hinunter nur ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß (hinauf 15 Minuten). Die Straße und der Hauszugang liegen 1 Etage tiefer, d.h. Terrasse und Wohnung liegen 1 Etage höher und am Hang zurückversetzt: in der Nachsaison war es ruhig genug; in der Hauptsaison und bei wegen Hitze geöffneten Fenstern ist das sicher anders... aber dafür wohnt man fast zentral!"
